La Petite Université

La Petite Université de Chamonix is a cultural leisure association whose aim is to offer activities and teaching in a variety of fields, including the Humanities, modern languages, the Arts and the Sciences.
The aim is to make knowledge accessible to all, but also to create social links within a dynamic, intergenerational framework, notably through activities (outings, workshops, conferences, debates, etc.) that complement the courses.

Nearly 40 subjects are taught! Course formulas and frequencies are variable: modules of 3 to 10 classes (or sessions); weekly, monthly or quarterly courses; evening or weekend courses, etc. Our calendar is specially designed to adapt to as many people as possible, whether students, working people or retirees.
And every month, we organize conferences, meetings and workshops on a variety of subjects, including science, politics, technology and the arts.
